How It Works
Our technicians have years of hands-on experience across nearly every major appliance brand, and they've seen it all — from simple fixes to the kind of complicated, hard-to-diagnose problems that take a trained eye to actually solve. Whatever's going wrong, you're getting an experienced second opinion, not a guess.
1. Reach out
Contact us by phone, email, or by sending us a message — whatever's easiest for you.
What to have ready when you reach out
To help us respond quickly and accurately, it's helpful (though not required) to have on hand:
- Your appliance's make and model number
- The symptoms you're experiencing, and when they started
- Whether anyone has already looked at or attempted to repair the issue, and if so, what they found or quoted
2. We come to you
A technician visits your home and inspects the appliance in person. Some problems just can't be diagnosed accurately over the phone or from a photo — seeing it firsthand is what makes the difference between a guess and an actual answer.
3. Get a straight answer
After the inspection, you'll get a clear, honest recommendation and an actual quote for the repair — parts and labor, no vague estimates. If it's worth fixing, you'll know exactly what that looks like. If it's not, we'll tell you that too, even though it means less work for us. That's the whole point of a second opinion.
Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can someone come out? ▾
You can call us for an immediate response, or if you reach out in writing, we'll get back to you within 2 hours. Technicians can often be scheduled as early as the same day or the next day, depending on technician availability, your availability, part availability, and your location.
Is there a service fee for the visit? ▾
Yes — there's a service fee for a technician to come to your location and diagnose the issue. This fee covers the diagnosis and isn't refundable, but if you decide to move forward with a repair, it's waived entirely. See our
Pricing page for current rates.
Will the technician provide a quote? ▾
Yes. After inspecting the appliance, your technician will give you a clear quote for parts and labor. You're never obligated to proceed with the repair if you'd rather not.
Is there a guarantee on the work you perform? ▾
Yes - parts supplied and installed by us are covered for 60 days. If that same part fails within the warranty period, we'll replace it at no cost. See our
Terms of Service for full warranty details and exclusions.
Which appliances do you service? ▾
We repair washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, cooktops, microwaves, fridges, freezers, wine fridges, range hoods, and stylers.
Are you using original manufacturer parts? ▾
Yes, we only purchase original manufacturer parts. If you'd prefer to supply your own parts, we can install them for a labor cost, though they won't be covered under our guarantee.
What brands do you work on? ▾
We work with all major appliance brands, covering stoves, fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, microwaves, wine fridges, range hoods, and stylers. See our full

What payment methods do you accept? ▾

Does someone need to be home for the visit? ▾

Are you insured? ▾
Yes — our technicians are all insured for the work they perform in your home or at your appliance's location.
